Well, don’t mistake aloha for weakness. If some random guy is going anonymous to directly attack and be aggressive to Hawai’i and its people, you can’t expect them not to respond to that. And racist, seriously ? Yeah, saying that everyone hates the Islands just because of the way islanders look is anything but racist. True that. Some Hawaiians never accepted and won’t ever accept the fact that the Islands were taken over once by the US and therefore underwent radical changes. Some people over there feel like their culture is being forgotten about, some people over there feel like their lands were stolen. Yeah, you might find locals who will be overprotective of their Islands, but what’s to blame? Randomly hating on Hawai’i and Hawaiians won’t make any difference. I was born and raised in another country but I am part Hawaiian myself - I know for a fact that you certainly couldn’t tell such things to my dad and uncles’ faces without having their fists right in your face, no matter how living aloha is important to them. Think about how you would react it this would go the other way around. I know the past is history, but it just always has an impact on the world we are living in today. Forgive, but never forget.
